Super Bright

The Rechargeable Headlamp, 1400 Lumens LED Headlamp with Red/Green/White 14 Modes Ultra-Bright Headlamp Rechargeable, Motion Sensor Headlamp with Memory Function is super bright. This light is really durable, very easy to use and super bright. As a matter of fact, when I turned it on to test it, I actually temporarily blinded myself because I was looking directly at the light when I turned it on. Lesson, learned... I won't do that again. However, if you need to see where you're going, this going, this light will definitely show you the way. It's great to be able to pop that light on your head and see your way through the dark. This is a great tool for campers too! Oh, and the best part... It's rechargeable!

Great rechargable headlamps

Headlamps that require batteries are a thing of the past. These headlamps recharge using my cell phone charger (Type C) and I'm never left searching for batteries again. You can easily click through brightness modes with the button on top, or even turn on motion sensing mode which allows you to wave your hand in front of your face to toggle it on/off. The strap holds snug and is comfortable around the head. I would definitely buy these again.

Seem to work well

So I about blinded myself trying to get these turned on and I can definitely say the lights are very bright. There's a lot of light features for the lamp as well. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I wish there were better instructions on how to use the lights and the different features offered. The instructions were on a small piece of paper. I couldn't get the sensor switch to work, but that might have been on me. The head lamps came with a lot of pieces that I don't know for sure what they are for. The lamps seem to be good quality overall though, the price point seems appropriate and the lights are definitely bright!

Get it.

After 8 months of use, no complaints. Holds a charge, ease of use, described effectively. I'm happy with the acquisition for hunting, yardwork, and various other odd use cases.

Works great and it's very bright

At first it seemed like this wasn't recharging but I think the issue was actually the power bank I was using. Once I charged it with a wall plug, the indicator lights showed a full charge. I have used it many times and it's still on 4 of 4 charge.

Won't charge past 1 bar

Had them for 10 months. These are now one of my favorite things. With nights getting dark early - great for dog park, walking around etc. also had to replace a pilot light assembly in a gas fireplace and a hydraulic pump on my
Mini - working I lots of light is so much better than trying to position my iPhone. Haha these things are really handy

Work great but need more green distance

Pro
Light weight and easy to use. They function great and have a lot of different settings. We use them when walking in the woods for hunting and the deer have no clue what we are.

Con
The green setting is bright but doesn't have more than 50 yards at best distance. It also has a motion setting so if anything gets within 3 feet it will go off or on. So climbing a tree it will go off and on like crazy and you have to keep waving your hand in front of it to get it to turn on again

Return to red, yes!

Most important is the "return to red" function!!! Long press in whatever mode you're in to shut off, press power again and whatever setting you were on is where you'll be. In other words, you don't have to cycle through white, flood, spot green to get back to red! Woo hoo! Just the right level of brightness.

Worth every penny

These are a game changer for night work on the farm. Trying to deliver a goat baby while holding a flashlight is possible but not at all easy. I've been using these head lights for several months and love them. I keep a full charge so i have them ready at anytime. I've worked 6-7 hours with 1 of these headlights as my only source of light with no complaint. The different settings make working different situations very easy. Bright when checking a wound easily switched to dim to greet the dog. One light stopped working about 2 weeks after i got it. I exchanged it for a new set. Have had no further issues. I would recommend these head lights.

Great light!

Great product for the price. I'm forever losing headlamps while I'm hunting. This is a great way to utilize all the hunting situation lighting for me

Best Headlamp I've Used - C Perfect for Camping & Stargazing

This rechargeable headlamp is next level. At 1400 lumens, it's super bright, and the multiple color modes (red, green, white) are perfect for everything from hiking at night to stargazing without ruining your night vision.

The motion sensor feature is super handy, and the memory function makes it even easier to use. I've officially replaced all my other headlamps with this one, it really has everything you need and then some. And the fact that it recharges? Huge bonus. No more messing with batteries.

If you're into camping, night hikes, or just want a reliable headlamp for emergencies, this one's a total win. Highly recommend

Handy item to have around, working well for me

So far this is working well for me. Frankly, I don't use a lot of the modes and different types of lights it has, but it's nice to know they're there, I guess. It's quite bright, which is good, and you can change the illumination to spot-focus, light up a broader area, higher or lower brightness, etc. Good price for a set of two; I can put a light in different places in the house where I might need one without needing to run up or downstairs to get it. I don't use it much so I can't speak to how long it stays charged but it is nice to not need batteries.

Need A Handlamp? Look No Further.

What a great piece of kit. The amount of light this headlamp can output is actually crazy. With the push of a button, you're able to switch between a focused beam, super wide-angle beam, flashing, as well as have different colors. There's also a setting that works based on proximity of objects in front of the headlamp, but that honestly was more trouble than it was worth. Bit finicky. That being said, I was able to use this during an all-day PC build and the battery held up the whole time with extra juice to spare. When I did end up charging the headlamp, there's battery indicators on the side that tell you how topped up the battery really is. The connector is also USB-C, which is huge. Can we please just make everything USB-C?? Comfort-wise, I didn't experience any discomfort while wearing it for hours at a time since you're able to adjust the headband to just about any length.

For $12.99 w/coupon at the time of writing, this is such an easy buy if you're looking for a headlamp. Absolutely fantastic unit that I'm happy to recommend to everyone.

Great Headlamps!

This headlamp is very lightweight and portable. At first, I hesitated to go for a set of two of these thinking that it might be a few too much, but it has been perfect for the kids and for our nighttime explorations.

Well, worth the money! Super bright! Very happy with this product. This would be a great gift not just for your grandkids, but for your work crew as well. This was packaged nicely. I appreciate that this shipped in record time.

I believe if you get this item, you will not be disappointed, it is pretty straightforward and exactly as the item is posted.

Here is my honest opinion on this item:

- Five Stars - If I absolutely love the product and it exceeds my expectation, I will actively suggest the product to my friends and would purchase it again myself as needed.

- Four Stars - I really like this item and it does what the seller claims it would do. I would more than likely recommend it to someone if I knew they were looking for that product.

- Three Stars - This item is standard and for the most part does exactly what they say it does, but I would specify any differences. There may be things about a three star rating that I don't like about the product. If I knew someone were looking for that specific item and I recommend it to them, I would also share with them the reservations that I have.

- Two Stars - I take low ratings seriously. I also take seriously issues with items after you have spent good money on them. In this case, I would probably never recommend anything that I would rate two stars on, in fact, I would probably warn people so they would shy away from buying this item.

- One Star - It takes some serious issues to get a one star review from me. A bad product would do it though!

I take pride in giving honest reviews & hope this review is helpful to you. -

This packs a lot in a little package.

Product Review: HOKOILN Rechargeable Headlamp
1. First Impression: My nighttime expeditions (which range from serious hiking to less-than-serious midnight snack runs) were in desperate need of a lighting upgrade. My old headlamp was about as bright as a firefly in a jar, and the batteries seemed to have a secret pact with darkness. So, I decided to try this HOKOILN Rechargeable Headlamp, promising 1400 lumens, multiple light modes (including red and green!), and a motion sensor. My initial impression upon unboxing was, "This thing looks serious!" It's compact, sleek, and has a reassuringly solid feel. It's like a tiny, high-tech searchlight for my forehead.
2. Pros:
* Blazing Bright (1400 Lumens - Enough to Signal Passing Aircraft): This headlamp is bright. I'm talking "illuminate the entire forest" bright. Forget fumbling for your keys in the dark; this thing could help you find a lost civilization. It's like having a personal sun at your disposal.
* Multiple Light Modes (Red, Green, and White - Oh My!): The variety of light modes is fantastic. The white light is perfect for general use, the red light is great for preserving night vision (and not waking up your tent-mates), and the green light well, I haven't quite figured out a practical use for the green light yet, but it looks cool. It's like having a tiny light show on your forehead.
* Motion Sensor (Hands-Free Magic): The motion sensor is surprisingly useful. It allows me to turn the headlamp on and off with a wave of my hand, which is super convenient when my hands are full (or covered in fish guts, if I'm on a fishing trip). It's like having a personal lighting assistant.
* Rechargeable (No More Battery Anxiety - Hallelujah!): The rechargeable battery is a lifesaver. No more frantic searches for spare batteries in the dark or contributing to the e-waste problem. It's like the headlamp is saying, "I'm here for you, and I'm good for the planet too!"
* Memory Function (Remembers Your Preferences - Like a Loyal Friend): The memory function is a nice touch. It remembers my preferred light mode and brightness setting, so I don't have to cycle through all the options every time I turn it on. It's like the headlamp understands my lighting needs.
3. Cons:
* Plastic Construction (Durability Concerns - Maybe): While it feels solid, the headlamp is made mostly of plastic. I'm a little concerned about its long-term durability, especially in harsh outdoor conditions. I'm hoping it can withstand the rigors of my clumsy adventures.
* A Bit Bulky (Not the Most Streamlined): It's not the most streamlined headlamp I've ever seen. It's a bit bulkier than some other models, which might be a consideration for some people. It's not huge, but it's definitely noticeable.
4. Overall Thoughts: This HOKOILN Rechargeable Headlamp is a fantastic lighting tool for any outdoor enthusiast or anyone who just needs a reliable hands-free light source.
5. Suggestions for Improvement:
* More Durable Materials: Using more durable materials would be a welcome improvement.
6. Recommendation: I would recommend this headlamp to anyone who needs a bright, versatile, and rechargeable light source for their adventures. It's perfect for running, hiking, camping, fishing, or just navigating your house during a power outage. Just be aware of the plastic construction and the slightly bulky design. It's like having a tiny, powerful spotlight strapped to your forehead, ready to illuminate all your nighttime escapades. Just try not to blind any passing owls (or your cat). They might hold a grudge. And maybe figure out a use for the green light. It's there. It's green. It' mysterious.

Goodbye AAA batteries

I had one like this, but running on 3 AAA batteries, which was a bit of a pain. This one can be recharged with a USB-C cable.
It is quite bright and the light comes out with a very reasonable opening angle, works great on the forehead, but every now and then I find myself just carrying it on my hand, it's pretty useful too.

It has two button, power, and the hand sensor mode. On the sensor mode you can toggle it on/off by just waving your hand in front of it, which can save the day when you are in a messy handyman situation. Caught me by surprise when I first triggered it by mistake, but now that I know how it works it is pretty cool.
One small dislike is the power button cycling through modes (high, low, and the different colors), if rather have a button as on /off and a separate one for cycling modes... But not enough disappointment to drop a whole star.
At that price point you can't expect anything better than this. Go for it.

Super bright rechargeable headlamp

My son has been looking for a new headlamp and this was a great find. While the light unit is a little more bulky than others on the marker, it works really well. He loves it. The headband is comfortable and very adjustable. The light itself can be pitched downward (or upward if you flip the band upside down).

It recharges using USB-C so the connection is much better than older Micro USB chargers. The charge is pretty good; it has seven different light settings, including red and green lights. I wasn't aware of the additional light settings when I ordered it, but it's a cool bonus.

Still a hot head!

This headlamp is different than others in that it has a gap between the headband & the lamp so as the light heats up you don't get burned. This also allows you to change the up & down direction a bit. The problem is this still gets hot & you'll feel it on your forehead! The motion sensor is a little too sensitive so using that mode to turn off & on quickly won't help! The light is very bright & there are quite a few options! So if you can stand the heat it will be OK for you!

nice and comfortable headlamp

This headlamp is lightweight and comfortable to wear. The package came with a headlamp, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, four small hooks, and a small user's manual.

The headlamp has two buttons, one turn on/off and brightness, and the other is to turn on the motion sensor feature. With the motion sensor feature on, you just need to wave your hand without touching the headlamp to turn on/off the light. It's very convenient feature when I need extra light on my workshop. I like this headlamp and I highly recommend this product.

Bright & effective

I ordered the HOKOILN 1400 lumens LED Rechargeable Headlamp and it arrived in good order. The head strap is adjustable and the various lighting functions are simple to operate. This headlamp throws a good amount of light, so it will be particularly useful for my outdoor fitness after the sun sets.

The lamp itself is a little heavy, so you'll either have to wear this atop a cap with a lid or tighten the strap to keep it from slipping. Also, the instructions warn the lamp head can get hot after operation, so the motion sensor feature is particularly useful in that case.

These were a Christmas gift for my son. He uses them when he walks the dog at night. He says they're great! Time will tell how they hold up, but so far so good!

A bit bulky, but well designed and functional

Although a bit on the bulky side this LED head lamp is overall well made, and has some extra useful functions.
There are two operating buttons on the lamp. The one on the right cycles through a single middle bright/low beam, then a double (left and right) bright/low beam, followed by very nice double green and double red lights. The green and red lighting is very useful for observing animals at night and helping to maintain one's night vision.
The sensor is initiated by pushing the left button and waving your hand in front of the lamp. After selecting the light mode you want you can simply move your hand in front of the lamp face to turn it off and then back on again. The sensor will also turn off the lights if the lamp face comes close enough to another object such as a wall or tree branch, etc. To turn the sensor function off just press the sensor button again.
The head strap is very comfortable, and the lamp can be adjusted at different angles.
When charging the lithium battery there are four blue lights on the left which indicate the level of charge. Unfortunately the fourth light will continue to blink even when it is fully charged. You will only know it is fully charged when disconnecting the C-usb cable and then turning on a light. If all four lights stay lit then you have a full charge.
This head lamp is pretty tough and probably brighter than most of its competitors so it may be worth the $20 asking price.
