2010- 800 Lumen Dual LED Dimmable Hands-free Headlamp

Everything I wanted. It's like I have the sun directly attached to my hat. Super bright just waiting for my neighbors to complain that I woke them up At 4am with this light ?? Feels high quality and it came with a charging cable and a carrying case.

Good quality light, fits perfectly on any hat or head color it's perfect, rechargeable I used it for 6 months a it's has good durability

This thing is tough. I ended up using it for work on my hard hat instead of at home. I have an air vent that with a little modification it will stay on top of the hard hat. I have dropped it several times but several months of use it's still working great and very bright. The actuating hinge is perfect for anything that I am working on. I would buy another one just for work if this one stops working. I have only used the spot light because I only need that option. The only thing that I don't like is how many times you have to push the button to go through all of them to shut it off. BUT whichever one you choose for several seconds it shuts off immediately after without going through all modes. And the motion activated is ok, when you have something too close and move it will switch. That is only good for large areas, not close spaces.

This light is great! I have been looking for something that is bright and will clip on tight! It's perfect! I have no electricity in my barn or tack room I love it in my chicken coop checking for eggs. The other brands that strap around head are too cumbersome and sweaty for what I need. Loved it so much i bought another for house, will be buying more for christmas gifts

Update... Seller provided full refund with no hassle after seeing my original 2 star review. I've not used the light beyond initial testing while waiting to see what the outcome would be. Testing proves the LED lights are very bright and it's likely the malfunction on the one I recieved was rare. I will begin to use this one when needed and see how it goes; only using the physical switch without motion sensor. It's a very compact and light weight device which add value to this tool.

Original 2 star review.... Just opened box to use this motion sensor headlight for the 1st time and found the lights are very bright as expected and the different settings cycle as they should. However, the motion sensor doesn't work! I finally got it to work for a moment after multiple attempts, but after powering the unit off, I've been unsuccessful at getting the motion sensor to work as intended again. I resorted to going back and reviewing the video demonstration on the product ad to be positive I wasn't missing any steps.
I didn't need this tool right away, but it's now a couple weeks past the 30 day return window.

2 stars may be too generous, but the lights are very bright. Will update this review if seller offers a replacement. Unit is unused beyond initial testing upon opening.

This hat clip only uses the stress of the plastic to hold the light on your ball cap, not really easy to put on or take off a thinker ball cap. Don't think this will last and will eventually break, but the light this puts out impressed me.

I am not big on reviews but this one is TRULY worth letting you know. I have NEVER even imagined a hat lite of this level. The BRILLIANCE is totally AMAZING keeping my hands free while I walk my dogs with leash and umbrella. ANY outside chores become a delight in the worst of weather knowing I will be able to see what I am doing at night. Also, a BIG Help in making repairs in Dark spaces. These would make PERFECT gifts for almost anyone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this item.

I use these headlamps all of the time, & have a bunch of different ones with different features.This one has become my new favorite & the one I reach for the most. Its incredibly bright & simple to use. The motion sensor option has been the best I have used on one of these before. The battery life is pretty long for the time duration its used. It recharges fast (under an hour). The top fill light is by far the best I've used on one of these & the ability to adjust it makes it all the better. I love the storage case it comes with, & it too is made of a nice quality with an interior mesh pocket.The only two minor features I wish it had would be a magnet somewhere so I could place it on something metal. This lamp only provides you with the brightest options available. I wish it had a bright & low light option. Since you can use the spot light & fill light together or separate, I guess you could also consider the fill light to be a low light option.The clip, the carabiner, the headband, the case, & everything else its able to do is pretty hard to beat. I absolutely love this headlamp & all that it has to offer. Its worth buying two.

There's a lot packed into this little light! This light has been well-thought out, well-engineered and is built with quality. The number of light settings, utility and features packed into such a small unit is truly impressive.First, there's a super bright, 800 lumen, dual lens spotlight which can be custom dimmed with a long press right down to a 10 lumen night light output. Next, it has a fold-up 16 LED panel light, just above the spotlights, that puts out a white light, perfect for illuminating a room-sized area or I can use it for photography. The next press gives me the option to use both lights simultaneously. There's a small solid red light positioned between the spotlights that can put out a solid red light or a flashing Morse code. For each light setting, the brightness level can be custom selected.The light uses a rechargeable lithium battery that the manufacturer states will last 80 hours on the lowest setting but I cannot confirm this. Unfortunately, nowhere on the website was the mAh size of battery listed. The light comes packaged in a durable small carrying case and the kit includes a headband, carabiner, built-in hat clip/light prop and charging cable.One more great feature that worked much better than expected was the motion sensor. I have other headlamps with a motion sensor but none have been as reliable as this one. Every light setting works with the sensor and it's very sensitive.Bottom Line: Extremely versatile headlight/camping/work/photography light. It's water resistant/(not waterproof), solidly built and comes complete with a removable hat clip, headband, hard-shell carrying case, carabiner and charging cable. Easily Five Stars!

Our extended family enjoys camping, fishing, and the outdoors and we have purchased at least 20 different headlamps over the years. By far, this versatile headlamp/visor light is the most powerful, brightest one we've used. While we received one to test and review, we immediately purchased two more to swap out with older, less power lamps. There are so many features that make this unit remarkable:1. Don't be put off by its large size. It is still lightweight and the amazing amount of light it casts more than compensates for its size.2. In our use, we agree that it truly casts 800 lumens of light. In the light business, there are "theoretical lumens" and "actual lumens." Virtually no flashlight ever achieves theoretical lumens, so some sellers use terms like "up to X lumens" knowing that the light likely won't reach that level. This vendor is different and provides you with the specific lumen you should receive. The photos provide evidence of how bright the various settings were to light up a totally dark room.3. The combination of a flat light panel with two spotlights is novel and really does work. And, that flat LED panel articulates, so you can point it upwards, forwards, or in between. This is a very new feature.4. We liked its versatility regarding how to use. It comes with a built-in visor clip to attach to your baseball hat or hardhat. It also comes with a headband to wear as a classical headlamp. Or, it is compact enough to just toss in your pocket and use it like a flashlight. A note: It will probably bounce around too much on your headband if you are jogging or exercising vigorously with it. We will use it as a headlamp as we set around the campfire, do some fishing, or play games at the picnic table.

Smaller and Brighter than I had expected for the price. I am keeping one for my glove box of my car and one on my fishing fishing gear. The size is compact and is so in a good way. The maximum brightness is impressive and very useful for any night or situation. I have yet to see the battery life but look forward to carrying this thing with me for the nightfishing adventures to come.

I got this as a gift for my maintenance guy... he said he loved it but I do not know if he ever used it. I gave one to him and kept one for myself... I have used it several times in my house and in my car ... in tight narrow spaces... wearing it on a baseball cap or just holding it... it is very helpful.

I was surprised at how bright the light was, compared to its size.I got it to use inside the house, when working on projects that require direct light on them. This works great for that, coz I can use both hands, without needing to hold a flashlight, or have someone else help me, or have shadows as is the case if using a table lamp.

I use mine all the time at work. Get multiple comments and questions about it. Bought 1 for a colleague so he would quit borrowing mine.

Bright little light

I use this light clipped on whatever hat or visor the temp/weather dictates . This light is pushing 2 years of absolute flawless use. That being every night I walk my girls. I charge it about every two weeks. Our walks for them to do their business last from 15-30 min depending on the current weather. I go full brightness because we're in the middle of nowhere. So a new moon is pitch black for us in the woods

I don't use any other modes except for the full COB light when the wife's flashlight dies. On full it lights up enough of our immediate area effectively for her while on my noggin to navigate.

I'll give this light 5 stars for:

Weight. I don't know it's there except on my Lightweight Adidas visor, and just barelyk. On my regular full cotton or half mesh lids, what light?

Brightness (fake term but applicable). During new moons you get spooked here. Throw is decent. We see the deer eye shine 500+ yards away on walks before the girls do.

Great Distance Throw. Adequate on high up to 300 - 500 yds, on high. Any distance less is extremely bright.

Battery life and features.
If you're mining, take a charger. Otherwise, for daily hikes at night with the girls, if I'm not careful it will just die on me. So I'm careful and recharge like very week. I do it at work and it's finished before the end of the day on a regular charger. Battery life is 5 stars.

One of the coolest features is the brightness control. Depressing the off/on switch will lowere/raise brightness levels with a blink/flash/whatever of the light to let you know you've reached that point Of course it dims and brightens between. Don't expect to buy time on the batt dimming though. once you've reached that point womp complete complete. The LED indicator let's you know if you're good to go (hence wanting a backup). I'm a caveman and cavemen would rather have a backup.

I wear it no matter the weather. Pouring rain, snow, whatever, Hey dogs gotta go #1 & #2, and in the dark too

Seriously, it's a great light. I have multiple types and price points. For the money, and for me, the reliability, this is my current go to.

Mine is black. I'm looking at the Olive version for a new replacement moving the original to the garage for all the auto and also house repairs. That COB is super nice for up close work.

If you're looking for a decent light, for whatever, check this one out. You probably keep it too.

I’ve been using this LED hard hat light (800 lumens, rechargeable, clip-on) for a bit now, and honestly, it’s one of those small tools that ends up being way more useful than you expect.

The brightness is the first thing that stood out. 800 lumens sounds like marketing fluff sometimes, but in this case it’s actually pretty legit. On the highest setting, it lights up a good area in front of you—not just a narrow beam, but enough spread to see what you’re doing without constantly moving your head around. I’ve used it for working in low-light spots and even outside at night, and it holds up.

What I like most is the adjustability. The head tilts, so you’re not stuck pointing straight ahead the whole time. That seems minor, but it makes a big difference when you’re working with your hands and need the light angled just right.

The clip design is also pretty convenient. It snaps onto a hat or hard hat easily, and I didn’t have to mess with straps unless I wanted to. That said, if you’re moving around a lot or doing something more physical, it can feel like it might shift a little—not enough to fall off, but enough to notice. For normal use though, it’s fine.

Battery life is decent. I wouldn’t leave it on full brightness for hours and expect it to last forever, but with the dimmer settings, it stretches out pretty well. Charging is simple, which is a big plus—no dealing with swapping batteries all the time.

It also feels pretty durable. I’ve used it in less-than-ideal conditions (dust, a bit of moisture), and it hasn’t had any issues so far. I wouldn’t abuse it, but for everyday use it seems solid.

If I had to nitpick, it’s not a “premium” feeling product, and the clip could be a little tighter. But for what it is, it does the job really well.

This is great! The battery lasts a long time. This is also the brightest headlamp I've ever seen. It makes it very easy to see what you are doing. Just be careful where you point your head when wearing this, because this light can be blinding.

The light is fantastic. I didn't realize it had a motion sensor, so there's no need to fiddle with buttons to turn it on or off, making it super easy to use. It's lightweight and doesn't make my hat shift from the extra weight. Incredibly bright. Highly recommend.

Really bright light little hard to turn on but very bright

Gives off a lot of light. I use mostly in the wintertime for walking my dog at night.
