- Bright, clear, and easy on the eyes, making detailed work much easier.
- Unlimited lighting possibilities. Great value for the price. Great addition to the shop!
- The magnet is STRONG - sticks to the hood and doesn't slide off.

The light is powerful enough to fully illuminate a workspace, whether I am working under the hood, in a garage, or doing repairs at home. It is bright, clear, and easy on the eyes, making detailed work much easier.
The magnetic base is strong and holds firmly on metal surfaces, which makes hands-free work much more convenient.
After testing, I have replaced my old battery work light in my truck with this one. It is compact, practical, and ideal for emergency use or camping.
The versatility of this light is what sets it apart from others. It has a magnetic base, so you can stick it most anywhere. The lights are both white and red, they can be turned on one at a time or both at the same time and they also can flash for long range visibility.
This is the jack of all trades portable LED light!

I especially like the 360 rotating and foldable panels. It is easy to aim the light exactly where I need it, even in tight spaces.
It is rechargeable, durable, and compactperfect for mechanics, DIY projects, or emergency use. Overall, a reliable and well-designed work light.
It puts out a good amount of light and has a variety of mounting options. The base has 2 magnets, there's an adjustable stand built in, and a 1/4-20 tripod mount for more permanent setups. Gives you flexibility depending on where you're working.
The front has a flashlight and there's a double work light panel that's hinged together. The hinge is a cool feature - you can light up both sides of a closet, or set it to 90 degrees and illuminate an entire room directly. Usually I shine work lights at the ceiling and work by the reflected light, but this gives you another option for direct lighting in multiple directions.
It has a bright red mode which might be useful if camping, but I think it's just going to be an extra setting I don't use much. There's a dedicated button for the front flashlight, so you don't have to cycle through all the primary light modes to turn it on.
The buttons are positioned on the inside, so when the light is "closed" you can't accidentally press them. You have to keep the hinge slightly open to reach the buttons, which would have been better if they were on the outside. It's a minor annoyance.

Awesome work light. The combination of adjustable angles, attachment methods, and lighting options really do give you almost unlimited lighting possibilities. Carry it in your hand, attach to a metal surface using the strong magnets, angle up from the floor, or attach to a tripod - so many options to create the best lighting arrangement.
Heavy duty plastic casing should offer good durability along with the rubber corner bumper. It folds flat for easy storage, and has a simple button arrangement for turning different lights on and adjusting brightness.

This light is a surprisingly powerful tool that punches well above its weight class in terms of utility and brightness. If you are looking for a portable solution for automotive work or emergency situations, this unit offers several features that make it a standout choice for a toolbox or vehicle. Oh and my cat apparently loves the flashlight mode, he lost his mind trying to catch the small rainbow/whitish orb. So doubles as a makeshift cat toy for cats lol
Performance and Portability;
* Brightness: The dual COB output delivers a staggering 2500 lumens, which is more than enough to illuminate a large engine bay or an entire room during a power outage.
* Compact Size: One of its best attributes is how small and compact it is, making it easy to store in a glove box or a small tool bag without taking up much space.
* Lightweight Design: Weighing in at approximately 1.09 pounds, it is incredibly easy to handle for extended periods or hang from overhead without worry.
* Magnetic Base: The magnetic handles are decent and provide enough grip to stay securely attached to most flat metal surfaces, allowing for hands-free operation in tight spaces.
Versatility and Features
The light features 9 distinct modes, ranging from high-intensity floodlighting to a red hazard strobe for roadside emergencies. Its 360 rotatable stand and handles allow you to angle the light exactly where you need it, which is essential when working under a vehicle.
Battery Life Concerns
While the light is marketed with a 9000 mAh battery, there is some reason to be skeptical of that specific number.
* Advertised vs. Reality: Many similar high-lumen work lights in this form factor actually house batteries in the 4000 mAh to 5200 mAh range.
* Runtime: On its highest setting, you can expect roughly 2 to 3 hours of continuous use, which is consistent with smaller battery capacities rather than a true 9000 mAh cell.
* Power Bank: It does include a USB-A output to charge small devices in a pinch, but using this feature will significantly drain the light's remaining runtime.

Ive used a lot of portable work lights over the years, but this 2500LM Rechargeable LED Work Light is easily one of the most practical and well-designed ones Ive owned.
First, the brightness is impressive. At 2500 lumens, it easily lights up an entire workspace. Ive used it under the hood of my car, in a dim garage, and even under the kitchen sink during a plumbing repair. The light is crisp, clear, and bright without being harsh on the eyes. It makes small details easy to see, which is essential for mechanical and electrical work.
The 9 lighting modes are a huge bonus. Whether you need maximum brightness, a softer setting for close-up work, or emergency flashing mode, its all there. I especially appreciate being able to adjust the brightness depending on the task, which also helps conserve battery life.
One of my favorite features is the 360 rotating and foldable dual light panels. Both the panels and the bracket rotate and fold completely, which means you can aim the light exactly where you need it. This is incredibly helpful in tight engine bays or cramped spaces where positioning is everything. I never feel like Im fighting with the light to get it angled correctly.
The strong magnetic base is another standout feature. It sticks firmly to iron and steel surfaces like car hoods, toolboxes, and electrical panels. Once attached, it stays putno slipping or sliding. That hands-free capability makes a huge difference when youre working with both hands and dont want to constantly readjust your lighting.
Battery life has been solid for me so far. Since its rechargeable, I dont have to keep buying batteries, which is both convenient and cost-effective. Charging is simple, and it holds a charge well between uses.
Build quality feels durable and sturdy. It doesnt feel cheap or flimsy, and the folding mechanism operates smoothly without feeling loose. Its compact enough to store in a toolbox but powerful enough to handle serious tasks.
Overall, this is an excellent work light for mechanics, DIYers, electricians, plumbers, or anyone who needs reliable, portable lighting. Bright, flexible, magnetic, rechargeableit checks all the boxes.
Highly recommend!

I am so used to bashing products with wild claims of battery life that I am still shocked that the claims here are real! The first tests I run with this sort of thing are just to charge it up and then let it run. Charging is pretty quick and I was right about 3 hours to fully charge the light (in line with what they say) and on high power with both lights I got a touch over 3 hours of light. With one light on high, I got 5.5 to 6 hours of life. On low power with a single light, I got right about 9 hours. For a work light/area light, I'm good with the battery life especially as the claimed performance is accurate.
The light options are good with double or single light selections for white and red light and the additional blinking red for emergencies. The "flashlight" mode using the side light is decent, but this is really built around the flood functions. Bear in mind, this is bright in a small area and there is very little throw so I'm not giving up my EDC flashlight or headlamp, but this has a different mission in mind.
For versatility, the 360 magnetic handle and hinged light sections let you set this up and get light anywhere you need it. When using the magnets to hold the light in place, it will hang from overhead with no issue, but if mounting on a vertical surface, you do need to place the handle vertically to get a good hold (this is normal, physics is a thing).
After testing, I'm using this to replace a standard battery operated work light in my truck. Being compact and light, it will work well for emergency use (or just as a camp light for those overnight truck camping trips).
Why this work light is nice to have in emergencies. If your car breaks down or you get in an accident at night the most important thing is safety and to be seen. If you are stuck in the middle of the road and your emergency lights don't work, oncoming cars going at a high rate of speed are not likely to see you until it is too late. The Hokoiln LED work light has a double red strobe light to alert oncoming cars that a problem exists on the road ahead. If your cell phone happens to have a dead battery you can also charge it with this work light. This work light has two strong magnets in the handle so you can stick it on the roof of your car and you can adjust the lights 360 degrees so no matter what angle the vehicle is sitting at you can adjust the light to the correct position to be seen. The lights can also face in opposite directions so vehicles from both directions can be alerted.
The thing I do not like about this work light is that the housing is made of plastic. If this light is dropped on concrete or some other hard surface I think it will crack. I do not think the handle is made of thick plastic because it flexes as you move the lights around. Also, this light is not water proof or resistant.

My house has multiple dimly lit areas - attic, basement and garage. I was on the hunt for a portable bright light that I could use in these areas. Bonus points if it was adjustable.
Well this HOKOILN rechargeable COB (chip on board) light delivers all this and more. Its handle is magnetic, which helps in multiple places for me. It is bright with just one LED lamp on - and its super bright with both on.
It came fully charged and ready to go - another plus. It charges via USB-C and also has a USB-A port to charge devices/phones in the case of a power outage.
