I needed this light to work at my truck/trailer mechanic job. The light being magnetic allows me to work hands free. It is a very strong magnet.

I work on industrial machines and this light is the best I've had in 45 years of field service.

The beam projected is round with no adjustment. Slightly narrow. The brightness is pretty good. I found the magnet on the clip, always sticks to the object and pulls out of the pocket on the flashlight, very annoying.

I also have a WUBEN E7 EDC Flashlight. Far superior construction. And when used on "Turbo", way brighter. Timed the battery when on and lasted over 90 minutes at this brightest setting. There's also 3 other lower setting's of which I'd say the 3rd is the same as the Hokolite. Beam spreads to about 170 degrees, giving you better visability. All this for $30.

Hands down Wuben E7 EDC is a superior product and cheaper.
