Question:  Can this be charged in a vehicle using a usb?

Answer:  Yes, it can charges through a standard USB port.

Question:  How long does it take to recharge? How do I know when it is fully charged?

Answer:  Charging Time: 8-10 hrs, when the indicator light turns to green.

Question:  Where do I store the USB cord in the flashlight so it doesn't get lost or left behind when going on a trip?

Answer:  If it is lost it is cheap and easy to replace, I always wrap it around the handle or keep cord wherever you gonna charge it.

Question:  When not in use, should lantern be kept plugged in to charger?

Answer:  1 fully charged lantern can be used for up to 12 hours, and it takes 8-10 hours for 1 fully charging. If not in use, it's better to just keep it in a dry room temperature where it can easily be located, if you'd like to use it again.
