Good brightness& strong magnet. Stayed on my dogs collar and didn't seem like it would fall off. I tried to put it on a relatively rigid beanie but it was too heavy did the beanie and would flop over. It worked well clipping onto the waist of my pants but can't wear a long jacket or shirt or would need to tuck it behind the light. A little heavy but makes sense since it has a strong magnet and bright light. Definitely options to be creative on where to clip it so i'd recommend. Love that it came with two so i can clip one to myself and one on my dog.

I got it for the dogs early morning walks before sunrise this time of year (so I could see him in the woods) It��s a nice soft light. Doesn��t bother the dog.

Not a focused spotlight, more like a very wide floodlight, beam angle maybe 120 degrees? No problem seeing 4 or 5 meters ahead in the dark. Very bright, other folks will see you coming. Not waterproof, will resist light rain. Not rugged, OK w/ reasonable care.
Magnetic clip works on a waistband, headband, placket or pocket, not on a belt or bulky knit. Best worn low, where it can't spill light into your eyes. I use the two units together as "head and tail" lights while walking. They're perfect for that.
